It Was A Good Day

Update on the high protein and low carbohydrate situation.  I weighed myself when I first started on Sunday 2/5/2012.  So I weighed in this last Sunday,  2/12/12 and I am down 10LBs.  Hell yeah.  I am quite happy with this, and I also feel pretty good.

This “diet” has its hardships.  You really need to prepare everything, have it all planned.  Besides that, I don’t like meat.  I really don’t.  So since I am okay with Chicken, thats what I am eating.  Lots of eggs and greens as well.

Yesterday I didn’t eat very much at all.  Until about 6PM I only ate 3 eggs, microwaved, (running late and had to make them at work), 2 cheese sticks and 1/8 C. raw nuts.  That’s bad, but now that I am seeing weight come off, this is kind of what I do.  I had some greens and fried eggs when I got home and then went to bed.

I need to not do that.  Today is my day off, and I decided when I do this I will allow myself a cheat day, which is also Tuesday.  I feel kind of bad about it, but I am going to be doing the extreme low carbohydrate for at least -60LBs.  Its not like I am going to spoon sugar into my mouth, I had some strawberries on flourless Ezekiel bread with almond butter.  I bought some chocolate soy milk.  Little things that are at least on the healthy spectrum that I really like.

I weighed myself this morning just for kicks and I had lost another 3 LBs, since Sunday.  Seriously makes me in a good mood, and I saw that mood reflected onto everyone I encountered when I ran a few errands this morning.

I am happy, even if I am alone for dumb Valentines day.  Which makes me even happier.
